چکیده
The need for lowering the environmental impacts has incentivized investigation of biomass and biofuels as possible alternative sources energy supply. Among others, oxygenated bio-derived molecules such alcohols, esters, acids, aldehydes, furans are attractive substances chemical feedstock sustainable production. Indeed, presence oxygen atoms limits production aromatic compounds, improves combustion efficiency (thus heat production) alleviates formation carbon soot. On other hand, variability their composition represented one major challenges complete characterization behaviour. This work gives an overview current understanding detailed mechanisms, well experimental investigations characterizing process these species, with emphasis on laminar burning velocity ignition delay time. From review, common intermediates most relevant functional groups were identified. gathered information can be intended sake core mechanism generation.

Laminar burning velocity of natural gas/syngas-air mixture
This study suggests the equimolar mixture of Natural Gas (100% CH4) and Synthesis Gas (40% H2 + 40% CO + 20% CO2) as an alternative to reduce hydrocarbons consumption and reduce pollutant emissions. As a key parameter to characterize this combustible mixture, the laminar burning velocity was studied based on numerical simulations and experimental measurements in fl ames generated using a contou...

متن کاملFinite time stabilization of time-delay nonlinear systems with uncertainty and time-varying delay
In this paper, the problem of finite-time stability and finite-time stabilization for a specific class of dynamical systems with nonlinear functions in the presence time-varying delay and norm-bounded uncertainty terms is investigated. Nonlinear functions are considered to satisfy the Lipchitz conditions. At first, sufficient conditions to guarantee the finite-time stability for time-delay nonl...
متن کاملEffects of Flow Transients on the Burning Velocity of Laminar Hydrogen/air Premixed Flames
The effects of unsteady strain rate on the burning velocity of hydrogen/air premixed flames have been studied in an opposed nozzle configuration. The numerical method employs adaptive time integration of a system of differential–algebraic equations. Detailed hydrogen/air kinetic mechanism and transport properties are considered. The equivalence ratio is varied from lean to rich premixtures in o...
